75. The Queen’s Royal Horticultural Society Iris Brooch

This brooch was presented to The Queen in 2012, as a Diamond Jubilee gift from the Royal Horticultural Society when she visited the Chelsea Flower Show.

It is in the shape of an iris flower, made from white gold, set with 60 sapphires, 15 diamonds, 20 amethysts, 30 tourmalines and a large yellow diamond in the centre. The brooch was designed and made by the independent jeweller Kristjan Eyjolfsson.[1]

The Queen has worn this brooch to the Chelsea Flower Show in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
