    The Throne?

           
    It is inevitable that many people will want to ask "Which is The Throne? Where is it? "

    This is in no way an expert response to those questions. But I have long believed that The Throne is the one in the House of Lords which is used by the Sovereign during a State Opening of Parliament.

    There is also a Throne there for a Consort.

    The UK Parliament site has some information about the Sovereign's Throne and a glorious picture of it.
