29. The Queen’s Six-Petal Diamond Flower Brooch
The origins of this brooch are unclear; it is described simply by Field as “a six-petalled diamond flower with a large collet centre”.[1]
This brooch is worn occasionally by The Queen. Its most notable appearance was, when she was still Princess Elizabeth, in the pictures to mark the official announcement of her engagement.[2]
