The Palace has confirmed that the King will be crowned using St Edward's Crown.

The Royal Collection has released a short video about St Edward's Crown.




When they say "it has been used at every coronation.... " I'm not sure that is the full story.

For Edward VII it was present on the Altar but he was crowned with the Imperial State Crown.

For Victoria I have read that it might not have left the Tower. She was crowned with the Imperial State Crown.
