The Royal family in attendance

I counted 42 members of the BRF at the Coronation - more than I suspected.
They limited the families to two generations without spouses for the more distant cousins..
I think that the only notable exceptions were The Duchess of Sussex, The Duchess of Kent, Arthur Chatto and Marina Mowatt

I forgot to mention.....
Of those 18 were HRHs (with 2 more, that could be....The Earl of Wessex and Lady Louise)

Re: The Royal family in attendance

Another observation of the day....
I could not help notice that all of the men of the BRF have had their medals properly mounted.
I noticed that there was quite a messy hodge-podge of medals at the Late Queen's funeral, so I think a message came down from on-high telling them to "smarten things-up".
It looked much better for sure !

Re: The Royal family in attendance

Looking at different sources over the last few days, I think that I was mistaken in my third post.
I am pretty sure that Marina Moffat (daughter of Princess Alexandra) was in attendance at the King's Coronation.
I mistook her for someone else - so the numbers do not change (unless some one knows differently).
